In September 2022, the All-Russian TV show “Cool Topic!” started. The finalists presented their items on the air of the Russia 1 TV channel.

The project was created on behalf of the President of Russia V. Putin by the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Rossiya 1 TV channel and the United Media Group studio.

35 semi-finalists of the project presented their video lessons in the community of the Cool Topic! In contact with. The purpose of the videos created by UMG was to show the author's methods of teachers and the original presentation of subjects.

“How they communicated with the project team, how they prepared for filming! People who should not be on "you" with a camera have shown themselves to be real professionals. In a short time, they were able to master all the laws of the film set, began to understand professional film vocabulary, as if it had existed in their lives for a long time. It's nice to know that in our schools children can learn from such interesting and talented people," commented the film crew of the project. Scribe graphics were the main design element of the videos. It partially replaced props and added visual lightness.

In addition to the video lessons themselves, the UMG studio prepared video profiles for the semi-finalists. These are short videos about the teachers themselves: why they decided to work at the school, what they are fond of, what methods they use in their work.

All-Russian voting for participants took place on VKontakte using a chat bot. More than 230 thousand people took part in the voting.
